Il mito di Sleipner [Sleipnir]

Sleipnir è, nella mitologia norrena, il cavallo di Odino.
Di color grigio. dotato di otto zampe, è il miglior cavallo che esista, il più veloce, in grado di cavalcare il cielo, le acque e anche lungo gli altri mondi. Il suo nome significa "Colui che scivola rapidamente". Secondo alcune fonti Sleipnir porta delle rune incise sui denti.

Sleipnir is, in Norse mythology, the horse of Odin.
Gray in color. endowed with eight legs, it is the best horse that exists, the fastest, able to ride the sky, the waters and also along the other worlds. His name means "He who slips quickly". According to some sources Sleipnir carries runes engraved on his teeth.
